Hi Tomas
Do you find it hard to keep up such a large commitment to Ice Hockey while attending university?

Hey Pingu,
Unfortunately there has been a mix up with another players profile and somehow the back half of the answers are from Tomas and the first half were from another profile. Please bear with us while we get this changed over.
We can get this answered for you from the player who is going to uni full time and playing on the Dogs if would like also?

Hi
Yeah, that would be nice. Just curious to see what the load is like, between Ice Hockey and Uni.
Thanks

Hi Pingu,
I believe they mixed up my profile with Tomas’s. It is a bit of a juggling act and I try to balance both as best I can. For instance this year I missed a month of uni away with the mens team in April, but I used my spare time in camp and on the airplane to try and keep up to date. With the Dogs it tends to get pretty intense around exam time and I might have to miss one training if it is the night before a big exam.
So Pingu are you playing hockey and at uni as well?

Hi,
No I’ve actually taken a break from Hockey this year for my HSC, but I’m going to return to ice hockey next year. I keep up development training when I have the time, but I tend to find that’s only for the last/fist couple of weeks of the term and during the holidays, which isn’t that much when you consider the breaks between training. That’s why I was curious about what the uni load would be like, to see if it would be any easier once I’d left high school.
Thanks for the reply

Its good to see that you are trying to fit in hockey when you can…makes a good study break sometimes. There is a bit less pressure in uni than the HSC as you can get by with a pass for uni as opposed to trying to get the highest mark possible in the HSC.
Second semester finishes in November and with the season finishing in August/September you can put more energy into the second semester of uni etc.
Good Luck in your HSC as well Pingu. Hope to hear from you soon

Gummi Bears is one of my favorites, but my number 1# cartoon is DUCKTALES. and yes. Toltott kapuszta is not too bad.

Ducktales – good choice! I completely forgot about the show until now. From memory I used to have figurines, story books and videos. Ahh, i miss Saturday Disney …
