Chris,
I came upon this article today and was wondering if we were related. The Sekura’s settled in Canada back in 1915 and eventually my great grandfather, George Sekura, moved to Pittsburgh, PA. My grandfather, Charles Sekura, spoke often about Canada. Do you have a George in your family tree? There are no hockey players among the Sekura’s in the states, but some good athletes none the less! Hope to hear from you.

Hi David,
Just came across this message you have sent. Yes there just happens to be a George Sekura in the family tree. I’ve grown up in Taber, Alberta until moving to Australia in 1997. My parents still live in Taber today. Not sure if you will read the comments but if so contact me on csekura@hotmail.com for further chat.
