The Breakdown: Import Matt Monaghan hails from Chicago in the U.S and is in his second year playing for the Ice Dogs.  Last year he put up 19 points in 20 games and is off to a great start this season with 3 points in 4 games.  Matt is the type of player that has one gear and empty’s the tank every shift.  He is also a “clutch” player which means he will find a goal when needed in the big games.  Keep an eye out for number 17 this season.
