Dogs take on the tongues this weekend
The last time the Gold Coast Bluetongues came to town the BANQ Sydney Ice Dogs ran away with a 4-1 win and the game had its fair share of hard hitting action and rivalry. After losing both games in the Gold Coast the Doggies are determined to turn things up a notch and give a little payback on the scoreboard this Saturday night June 26 at the LCC Sports Complex.
The Puck Drops at 5pm. Adults $12, Kids $6 and the game will be proudly sponsored by EA Sports where NHL 10′on EA Sports is being raffled away as the prize at the game

Mate and i will be there and maybe a couple of fellows from work who haven’t been yet.

For those who weren’t there for this game it was awesome despite the fact we lost.
In Danson’s report last week he commented that the Ice Dogs were all over the knights and it was the same again in this game.
The Doggies were at their best and despite ending first at 3 zip to Tongues the dogs came out in the second and put 2 quick goals and from there were the dominant team all night.
Saw some great clean hitting and some excellent boarding fighting for the puck all game.
Highlight for me was when some of the guys from the pound went all the way down the other end to get behind our goalie to try help our boys bring home a win.
With this sort of form i can see a lot of wins coming down the home stretch.
